In any truly just society, the protection of children from predators and abusers must be of the highest priority. To that end, Jessica’s Law should and must be passed nationwide, thus signaling our country’s zero tolerance policy on child predators. Still, however, some states resist adopting this much needed measure. This is where Bill O’Reilly and Oprah Winfrey have stepped in. Both of them are waging nationwide campaigns for the adoption of Jessica’s Law and they remain outspoken proponents of child protection and staunch advocates of severe punishment for offenders. Mr. O’Reilly even appeared on Oprah’s show yesterday to discuss the situation. View that video here.

Of all the things the government could be doing, this would really be worth there effort.
