Hillbilly White Trash has a good take on why Fred is not running yet, officially:
I've been one of the voices crying for Fred to get in the race RIGHT NOW. I may have been wrong. It seems to me that he is running a good campaign right now and not having to spend one dime for airtime.
In fact they're paying him to do these commentaries.
